SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth is calculated automatically upon changing of Period and exiting the Salary field. These values can be changed after they have been auto-calculated.
Thanks to my friend Oliver Ryan Caliwag for developing the new feature.
Future developments will include calculation of list of salaries in CSV format. Suggestions are very welcome to make this tool very useful.

is there any computation about withholding tax for the 4th quarter? I just noticed, compared to previous years withholding tax for this quarter is really huge!

We have other deductions (like HMO and additional philhealth paid for the parents) but there are no slots to fill up. Also, our contribution is
not the same amount as what automatically computes on the calculator. Maybe you should add another box for other deductions. Thank you and your
idea is very useful.

computation for single and married is the same?!?!?!
Comment by Jojo Villamel — January 11, 2010 @ 10:55 pm
@Jojo
Yes, they are now the same.
@red
Last 2008, bir tax table was revised and maybe that is the reason why your tax gone up.
@Michael
I have been very busy and still was not able to revise the code. Anyway, to address you problem, you can just simply add all your contribution and enter it in HMO Philhealth group. Some of those fields on that group are auto-calculated but they can be edited.
I am really glad that this FREE tool helps.

your calculator is really helpful… iam not really well educated in our tax system but based on the calculator, tax will be subjected on NET income and not from gross… our tax system in the company is not the same, here, they taxed it from our gross which it makes bigger… imagine im just earning 22500 per month and already has ME1 status and i will have to have tax deducted on the average 6k per month.. to think i also have 3.9k of HDMF to pay monthly….
please enlighten us here…

@Noel
I think sobrang laki yang 3.9K/month. Ang taxable income will based on the salary minus deductions. I suggest you consult BIR, PAGIBIG and SSS if you dont trust your HR.
